Junior Class President Evan Antie
November 2, 2017
Evan Antie is the junior class president. He is also an officer in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), a member of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), and Student United Way.
“As a junior officer, we take part in more events,” the former sophomore vice president said. So far, Antie participated in the class ring ceremony, class fundraisers, and the junior homecoming cart and booth.
“I wanted to be a bigger part of my class and have a say in what’s done,” Antie said.
Antie wanted to become a larger part of the Clear Springs community and now that he has gained the role of president, he feels like it is a very prestigious position for him, he said. “It means a lot that I could get the votes of my peers.”
“The medical field is something I am looking into pursuing, so being a leader in my school helps me develop leadership skills that will be useful in that field,” Antie said.
“By being a leading role, I look forward to raising money, mostly for our prom, and making a difference,” Antie said.
As Antie enters his last two years, he hopes to meet new people and reach out to all the students in the Class of 2019.
