About
About us:
We’re the Charger Frontline, and we’re a student-run news publications created in inform and entertain our school community. We cover school news and events while also exploring topics like sports, media, and health. This year marks our first run of physical editions, along with the website we have always had and will continue to update as well as releasing our newspapers. We’re still learning and growing, but you can look forward to more features from The Charger Frontline.
History:
The Mane Street Standard Online is a publication from students at Clear Springs High School. Clear Springs opened in 2007 as Clear Creek ISD’s fourth high school. We’re located at 501 Palomino Lane in League City, in the northern part of Galveston County. We currently have nearly 2,700 students. Our goal and number one mission is to tell the stories within Clear Spings High School and give information to our students, parents, community and whoever else cares.
With the leadership of journalism adviser Karen DePaul, students began drawing up ideas for the site. After knowing what the site needed to look like, and the stories that would drive the site and the tone of the content, design began. The site is now passed on and administered by journalism adviser Erin DiNardo.
We’re proud of our accomplishment and proud to tell the stories of Clear Springs High School and the Charger Nation.
