Mrs. Kym Reeves impacts students.

She has a love for singing and directing students. She said that when she comes to work every day, she thinks her occupation is fun. Also, she enjoys being with students that like to learn more about music.

Reeves has a passion for music and directing. She has been teaching and directing at Clear Springs since 2011, and she has over a decade of choral education experience in various districts including Goose Creek ISD and Pearland ISD. Reeves graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with a bachelor’s degree of vocal performance with PK-12 certification.

With 30 years of singing experience, Reeves found her passion for singing when her sister and mother were singing, she said.

“Mrs. Reeves made me enjoy singing more because of her bubbly attitude. Last year when I joined choir, I tried out for several UIL competitions because of Mrs. Reeves’ encouragement,” Skyler Comin (10) said.

Olivia Bell (12) agrees. “Mrs. Reeves impacted me over three years. She helped me and I improved my singing.”

Freshman Chloe Ferer said, “Mrs. Reeves has helped me improve my technique, and I’m very grateful.”

“I intend to continue my music career until I retire,” Reeves said.
