Varsity Basketball Season Begins

With football season drawing to a close, basketball season is well underway. With a group of returning and new players, the coach, Coach Chris Hairfield sees a lot of possibilities in his team.

“This year we have a lot of potential, the guys work well together,” Hairfield said, “The leadership within the team is strong and well received.”

Springs has already begun competing in tournaments and games this year, with newcomers blending seamlessly with the upperclassmen.

“We have five returning players as well as a few coming from last year’s JV team, which won district last year,” Hairfield said. “In other words, we have multiple standout players and newcomers who will do big things this year.”
