PSAT/SAT Testing Day

Haven Hawley

The SAT and PSAT are two of the tests that give students on Wednesday, October 16th for an opportunity to earn incredible scholarships and possible full-rides to different colleges.

The SAT is normally taken in your eleventh to twelfth-grade years and is typically a requirement for college admissions. There is a version with both an essay and without an essay. The best one to take depends on the school you want to go to.

The PSAT gives you the chance to earn amazing scholarships, practice for the SAT, and the chance to be entered into the National Merit Scholarship program. The National Merit Scholarship is a scholarship competition for university scholarships funded by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The PSAT is typically recommended for the tenth and eleventh-grade students.

Juniors and Seniors who aren’t taking the test will still be expected to attend school and participate in pre-planned activities. All grade levels may check the posted signs outside the cafeteria to see where they should go.
