A Minor Debate

Noah Falk, Editor in Chief

Less than one month out from the election, the sitting Vice President Mike Pence went toe-to-toe (socially distant of course).

The less-important but still relevant throw down was hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah last week in a desperate effort to convince voters who to bubble in on their ballots this November.  Moderated by a meek Susan Page, the hottest political issues were brought up — and ignored across the stage as both VP candidates seemed to beat around the bush on multiple occasions.

While party lines rarely ever swing by significant numbers following even presidential debates, one thing will be remembered from the event: the fly that found its place on Vice President Pence’s sleek white combover.

2020 is still up in the air, and the VP debate didn’t really last in people’s minds for too long following the event.
