‘Euphoria’ Special

Euphoria has become one of the biggest shows of 2019 and 2020, with more than 1.2 million viewers only on cable providers. With this show being the talk of the year, they have released some exciting news for fans of the teen drama.

‘Euphoria’ fans will have to wait well into 2021 for season 2, but in the meantime HBO has confirmed two special episodes of the well-known popular teen drama.

The first episode is set to air on Sunday, December 6th at 8pm on HBO max.  According to sources, both episodes were produced under COVID-19 guidelines, with all of the cast and crew mates wearing masks behind the camera.

The first episode titled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” will find Rue (Zendaya) in the aftermath of being left by Jules (Hunter Schafer) at the train station and relapsing. The episode, written and created by series creator Sam Levinson, follows Rue as she celebrates Christmas with her family. HBO is said to reveal the title, plot and date for the second episode at a later date.

Some other binge-worthy Netflix shows to watch during this holiday break that are similar to euphoria are: The Society, The Queen’s Gambit, YOU, On My Block, Grand Army, I Am Not Okay with This, & Skins (Hulu). All have teen drama and/or situations similar to ‘Euphoria’.
