The Return of Astroworld Festival 2021
May 14, 2021
Travis Scott’s third annual Astroworld Festival has been brought back for 2021 after being cancelled last November due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival will be taking place in a span of 2 days instead of one on November 5-6, 2021.
The tickets came on sale on May 5 at 10 a.m. and sold out in minutes. The anticipated lineup for the festival has not yet been released, but fans were quick to spend a total of $365.40 on General Admission tickets.
The “Stargazing VIP” went for $794.42 and the “No Bystanders VIP” went for a whopping $1,077.93. For his Astroworld tour in 2019, Travis generated a record setting $34.3 million, but will most likely break that profit with the massive amount of support the festival has already gotten.
He is known for his iconic ragers and giant mosh pits and that will only continue this year seeing as the tickets were sold out in less than an hour. Eminem is also rumored to be in the lineup this year, which will make the festival even larger than before. Along with Lil Uzi Vert, Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Megan Thee Stallion, and Don Toliver in the lineup, similar to previous years.
