Astros Launch World Series Run

Sophia Jones , Staff Writer

The Houston Astros beat out 14 American League teams in Major League Baseball and made it back to The World Series for the third time since 2017.  They had to fight through series with the Boston Red Socks, Chicago White Sox, Tampa Bay Rays, and many more teams to get to this point. In the past in 2017, the Astros were involved in sign stealing cheating scandal. This year, the team can redeem themselves and win for real, and put the scandal in the past.

With the series tied at 1-1-, the Astros go to Atlanta to play in game three. In game two, Astros beat Atlanta 7-2 after Atlanta beat Houston 6-2 (the second pitch of the World Series was a home run) the night before.

Upcoming games:

  • Game 3: Friday, Oct. 29, at Atlanta, 7:09 p.m.
  • Game 4: Saturday, Oct. 30, at Atlanta, 7:09 p.m.
  • Game 5: Sunday, Oct 31, at Atlanta, 7:15 p.m.
  • Game 6 (if necessary): Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Houston, 7:09 p.m.
  • Game 7 (if necessary): Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Houston, 7:09 p.m.

Going to a game seems like a fun event, however, ticket prices range from $742 to $12,240 for the next games at home.  Many people enjoy the game from home or out with friends. No matter where or how you watch the game, the Houston Astros bring the city together.
