The Swifties are taking control of the United States and completely strengthening the US economy during ‘The Eras Tour.’ They have broken all-time world records for hotels, they have boosted small businesses, and restaurants.

The Federal Reserve says, “Despite the slowing recovery in tourism in the region overall, one contact highlighted that May was the strongest month for hotel revenue in Philadelphia since the onset of the pandemic, in large part due to an influx of guest for the Taylor Swift concerts in the city,” Another record was hit in Chicago with 44,000 hotel rooms each night, breaking Chicago’s hotel all-time history when Swift had her weekend concerts there, making May the strongest month for hotels since the onset of the pandemic.  Adding on, sources from the Northeastern Global News, when she played in Las Vegas it was the Eras Tour, not gambling, that caused the most tourism spending since COVID-19.

Taylor Swift plans on playing in over 140 concerts across 5 continents and has stimulated travel and tourism in the region. It is possible that the Eras Tour could help another country’s economy.

In total, The Eras Tour has changed the economy by an estimate of 5 billion dollars, and the estimate for how much money Taylor Swift has gotten is more than we can dream of and growing. With her recently announcing her Eras Tour Movie coming to theatres on October 13th fans went wild and broke presale records at AMC Theatres according to CNN. From just her tour alone she has received an estimated 1 billion dollars, and with the tickets being almost 20 dollars, I’m sure she will receive much more.
