New York city has experienced one of its wettest days in decades with serious flooding in the last 72 hours resulting in multiple problems for residents that live there or that are trying to leave. New York city in the last 72 hours has been experiencing flash flooding like no other. The flash flooding has been causing problems all around New York city for example the central park zoo there was an incident which led to a seal temporarily escaping from its enclosure due to an overfill in her enclosure but thankfully they were able to locate the seal and bring her back to the zoo.
Due to all the flooding that has occurred in New York city this has caused transportation to be delayed and has caused multiple problems for people trying to leave New York city. Unfortunately, with all the flooding in New York City, this has caused a severe problem for transportation vehicles. For example, New York city’s five boroughs have suffered intense flooding across streets and subway stations making it difficult for people to leave certain areas. The aftermath of this terrible flooding that New York experienced was awful. New York city experienced over 7 inches of rain which led to multiple apartments getting overflooded with water which caused residents personal belongings to be ruined during the flooding and is going to cost New York city a lot of money to repair these iconic and monumental places.
