Data obtained from the United States Census Bureau by the Houston Chronicles told us that around 42,279 Texans were welcomed into California. A huge factor in this is the average salary in California, the average salary in California is over 73k which is ranked the 3rd highest in the United States. While in Texas the average salary is 57k which is ranked 24th in United States, the rise of home prices is also contributing to the factor of residents leaving, this means people with a lower paying salary are going to have a challenging time but people with a handsome salary will be doing fine.
