Everyone has a favorite Pokémon whether it’s the cute electric rabbit Pikachu or the fiery dragon Charizard. Pokémon is a popular series of games that have been around since 1996. Its version of play styles includes videogames, playing cards, and more recently mobile games. All made by Nintendo. 

Pokémon Go, released for mobile users, was released in 2016. It immediately caught fire and before you knew it everyone was on the streets and on their phone trying to catch the best or rarest Pokémon’s. Soon after its success they started making updates adding more Pokémon, but eventually the fire died. The games active player count went down by quite a lot, it wasn’t dead, but it wasn’t as popular as before. 

Fast forward to today Pokémon Go is back on the rise. This could be due to the new updates coming out that are improving the content of the game and changing the graphics to make the game look better and more pleasing to the eye. Pokémon also hosts events quite often, with only some lasting a day and some lasting entire months, which offers lots of content for people to enjoy.
