Marvel Studios announced on Wednesday that production has begun on “Avengers: Doomsday,” which is set to release in theaters on May 1, 2026. The movie will be directed by the Russo brothers, alongside “Avengers: Secret Wars,” which is scheduled for release on May 7, 2027. During Wednesdays livestream on March 26, Marvel revealed 27 cast members that are set to star in “Avengers: Doomsday”.
The cast will feature stars Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kir by, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal and Robert Downey Jr.
Additionally, at Las Vegas CinemaCon, Marvel revealed that a new Spider-Man movie titled “Brand New Day” will hit theaters on July 31, 2026. As well as this Spider-Man movie Miles Morales from the Sony universe will return to the screen in the highly anticipated conclusion to “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” which will hit theaters June 4, 2027.
