Major League Baseball’s Opening Day is Thursday, March 26 with the Houston Astros set to open their sixty-fourth franchise season.
After missing the playoffs for the first time in eight years last year, the Astros will open their season in Houston, at Daikin Park versus the Los Angeles Angels at 3:10 PM CT. The Angels are ironically the team whose come-from-behind win kept them out of the playoffs last year.
The Astros look to bring playoff hopes back to Houston; with a new lineup they’ll unveil this Thursday against the defending last place finishers in the AL West.
